HOW TO ORDER |
|
There are a few ways to order custom handmade shoes or
boots. The best way to do this is to drop by the shop with a sample or a
picture. Then we can pick out colours and materials, measure your
feet and voila, in two or three weeks you will possess what your desire. If you cannot come by the shop then contact us by phone, fax or e-mail and we will discuss your requirements. You can mail, fax or e-mail any samples, pictures and colour examples you have. There are a couple things that we will need to know, those being what type of footwear you are interested in and what size. Type of Footwear We can make virtually any type of footwear from dancing shoes to western boots including specialty one-of-a-kind items and orthopedic shoes. A picture is worth a thousand words so if you can provide a picture ( either paper or digital ) of what you are looking for or something similar then we're half way there. A sample also works well or even a drawing. Your order can be made from a wide variety of materials including buttery soft Italian leather, exotic snakeskin, suede or steer hide. We have a wide variety of soles and heels to meet any requirement. We can make suggestions to help your decision. Colour is also a piece of required information. Materials come in many natural colours and leather can be dyed to your exact specifications. A sample of some sort is very useful. Sizing Exact sizing is important to achieving the perfect fit. Basically this means drawing an outline of each foot and taking measurements at various places around the foot, ankle and leg ( for boots ). Print the Order Sizing Form, or save it as a text file, fill it out and send it along as well. Have a friend do the drawing and measuring. Stand upright in a relaxed manner and beware of ticklers! When drawing the outlines be very careful to keep the pencil in an upright position and do not press into the edge of the foot. For the other measurements, use a tailor's tape or a piece of string Make the measurement and then compare the string to a ruler. Take measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. Make sure the foot is flat on the ground and be careful not to measure too tightly. Once we have the details, we will contact you with a price quote. Prices start at $199CAN ( about $190USD ). Payment is required at time of ordering. When your order is ready (usually under two weeks) we'll ship it to you. |
